Nguyen Thu Trang is the Director and Country Representative for AGA Vietnam, where she supports clients in navigating Vietnam’s regulatory environment and executing stakeholder engagement strategies to drive business growth.
Trang brings a wealth of public affairs experience to AGA, particularly in government engagement and crisis management. She leverages her deep set of relationships with businesses, civil-society and political leaders in Vietnam across all levels, to help clients mitigate business risks and maximize opportunities in the market.
Trang joined AGA from the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) in Hanoi, where she provided and executed advocacy strategies to help Fortune 500 companies mitigate reputational, regulatory and political risks that affect their business operations in Vietnam. Earlier, Trang was an Advocacy and Communications Specialist in various international NGOs, including Action Aid, UNDP, and Plan, where she worked closely with numerous government agencies in Vietnam in providing technical assistance. Trang has also cultivated a strong network in Vietnam’s media sector, having been a former journalist for Vietnam Television and the Times and Education Newspaper. She spent five years working in the private sector, including two years as Head of Business Promotion for the Hanoi Business Association.
Trang has a Master’s degree in International Relation from Vietnam National University.
Tran Vu Hoai is a renowned expert on Vietnamese politics, economics, and business environment. He holds a principal role in the management of Asia Group Advisors’ operations in Vietnam, where he leverages his deep experience in corporate affairs to provide guidance on client service strategy and represent Asia Group Advisors’ Vietnam office at the regional level.
Hoai is the Co-Founder and CEO of Galaxy Communications, the largest public relations firm in Vietnam which serves major multinational technology, banking, and retail corporations. Galaxy Communications also manages Galaxy Studio, a leading media and entertainment company in Vietnam which produces and distributes movies, as well as develops and operates movie theatres.
For over 15 years, Hoai served in Unilever Vietnam, with his last position being the Vice President of Corporate Affairs. He is also a founding member of the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development.
Hoai received an MBA from Harvard University as one of Vietnam’s first Fulbright Scholars.
